The Polish Museum of America is located on the north side of Chicago and is one of the largest and oldest ethnic museums in the United States. The DuSable Museum is an African and African-American museum in the Hyde Park neighborhood. School field trips can arranged and the museum has a wonderful Teacher Resource Center. The National Endowment for the Humanities includes a website called "Picturing America". The website includes a special educator section about how to teacher American art in English, History, and Language classes.
